ClickRoutine helps you build browser automations in two ways: record your actions on a site, or create an AI automation that can understand the page and decide the next step for you. Use ClickRoutine to: - Record clicks, typing, scrolling, navigation, and page flows on the sites you choose - Create AI prompt automations with your own provider or API key, including local and cloud options - Convert AI-built recordings into standard non-AI automations when you want repeatable playback without future token usage - Edit captured steps, fine-tune timing, add retries, screenshots, and playback options - Handle popups and multi-window flows with window switching support - Run automations now or schedule them for later - Import, export, and back up automations more cleanly with improved matching and indexing - Keep most automation data stored locally in your browser by default AI provider note: When you use AI automations, ClickRoutine sends page context only to the AI provider endpoint you configure. If screenshot fallback is enabled and needed, ClickRoutine may also send a screenshot of the visible tab to that same provider so the automation can recover when DOM inspection is not enough. **v2.1.7** ClickRoutine 2.1.7 adds a text editor that is accessible directly from each automation card. **v2.1.6** ClickRoutine 2.1.6 adds an option for nested or chained iframe workflows. **v2.1.5** ClickRoutine 2.1.5 adds AI as a step inside automations and improves click accuracy for AI-guided runs. **v2.1.4** ClickRoutine 2.1.4 adds an opt-in setting for automatic updates from each creator you subscribe to. **v2.1.3** Improved background-tab input timing so synthetic click flows are less likely to stall while the tab stays hidden. **v2.1.2** -Missed scheduled automations now catch up through the normal queue instead of launching all at once on startup. -This prevents large batches of overdue automations from opening many tabs at the same time and reduces duplicate follow-up runs. -Added a new Global Settings option to catch up on missed automations when Chrome was closed, enabled by default, so users can instead mark missed runs as failed and run them manually later. **v2.1.1** ClickRoutine 2.1.1 improves background-tab submissions and fixes a tab/window closure bug that could show up when multiple automations were running at the same time. **v2.1.0** ClickRoutine 2.1.0 adds Creator Subscriptions for sharing automations through user-added HTTPS JSON feeds, plus reliability improvements for automations that continue in background tabs.
