Dereferences "urn:" URIs into navigable URLs: "urn:iso:" to ISO OBP, "urn:doi:" to doi.org, "urn:isbn:" to WorldCat

Chrome does not currently know how to make "urn:" links 'clickable' — this extension allows you to click "urn:iso:", "urn:doi:" and "urn:isbn:" links to be taken directly to the page that corresponds to that URN. "urn:iso:" links resolve to the ISO Online Browsing Platform. If the language part of the "urn:iso:" link is missing, you will automatically be taken to the English language page (:en). "urn:doi:" links resolve through the official DOI Foundation proxy at https://doi.org, which redirects to the authoritative landing page registered for that DOI. "urn:isbn:" links resolve to the publication's OCLC WorldCat page, where you can identify the exact edition and find libraries that hold it. Key Features: • Web Link Interception: Intercepts clicks on "urn:iso:std:...", "urn:doi:..." and "urn:isbn:..." links across web pages and routes them to the official ISO Online Browsing Platform (OBP), DOI resolver or WorldCat. • Omnibox Integration: Type "urn:" followed by any supported ISO, DOI or ISBN URN in the Chrome address bar to navigate directly. • Document Element Resolution: Supports clauses, figures, tables, terms, forewords, annexes, and language tags. • Standards-Correct DOI Encoding: Preserves DOI case and Unicode characters and percent-encodes the DOI name per the DOI Foundation's URI specification, so DOIs containing slashes, number signs or non-ASCII characters resolve correctly. • Standards-Correct ISBN Handling: Validates the ISBN check digit and converts ISBN-10 to its canonical ISBN-13 form, so hyphenated, ISBN-10 and ISBN-13 versions of the same book all reach one page — and a mistyped ISBN is reported rather than sent to a catalogue search. • Zero Data Collection: Operates completely locally in your browser with no tracking or external data transmission. How to Use: 1. Click any "urn:iso:std:..." link on a web page to open the corresponding document on the ISO Online Browsing Platform. 2. Click any "urn:doi:..." link to open the landing page for that DOI. 3. Click any "urn:isbn:..." link to open the publication's WorldCat page. 4. Alternatively, type "urn:" in the Chrome address bar, press Space or Tab, enter an ISO, DOI or ISBN URN, and press Enter.
