ZeroZapp is now easier to use. It puts the tools for Inbox Zero inside WhatsApp Web: snooze chats, schedule messages, transcribe voice notes and summarize chats with AI. It runs on Chrome and on Chromium-based browsers such as Edge and Brave. ⚡ WHAT'S NEW IN 0.5.1 • Schedule messages without leaving the chat. Type in the message box, open ZeroZapp next to it, choose Schedule and pick the day and time. It works for text and for one attachment (image, video, audio or file). • Easier sign-in. Use the same account you use on zerozapp.com. After you install, the extension opens zerozapp.com/boas-vindas (in Portuguese for now): sign in with your account, it connects the extension for you and shows a short guide. • New contacts saved for you (optional). When someone who is not in your WhatsApp contacts writes to you, ZeroZapp saves them with their profile name. WhatsApp only: your phone's address book is untouched. It stays off until you turn it on in Settings. When you turn it on, it also saves, one at a time, the unsaved people already in your chats. • More stability. Fixes for scheduled messages (only the right account sends, and ZeroZapp checks whether a message already went out before trying again), transcriptions and the top menu. 🚀 HOW TO START 1. Install ZeroZapp. 2. Sign in or create an account. The free trial lasts 14 days, with no credit card needed. After that, you pick a plan at zerozapp.com/planos. 3. Open WhatsApp Web and look for the green icon with a bolt. It shows up in three places. 📍 THE THREE PLACES 1. The icon next to each chat. In the chat list, snooze a chat until tomorrow, next week or a date and time. In the same menu you can schedule a message and mark the chat as a favorite or as blocked. 2. The menu at the top left. It opens your scheduled chats and messages, archives in bulk (groups only, chats only, read only or everything) and takes you to Settings. 3. The tools inside the chat. Next to the message box: summarize the last messages, get a reply suggestion, refine your text with an instruction and schedule what you typed. On voice notes and videos you get a Transcribe button. 🧰 WHAT YOU CAN DO • Snooze chats. ZeroZapp archives the chat and it comes back at the time you set, with Auto Unarchive on. • Schedule messages, with text or an attachment. Under Scheduled conversations you edit the time and text, or cancel. • Transcribe voice notes and videos with AI, summarize the audio and translate the transcript. If you want, ZeroZapp transcribes everything when you open a chat. • Summarize long chats and suggest replies. You can change the prompts. • Favorites and blocked. Bulk archiving leaves your favorites alone. ZeroZapp's Blocked list archives a chat again whenever a new message arrives. It does not block the contact on WhatsApp. • Privacy mode (optional): choose to blur photos, names, messages and previews, and to reveal them on hover. • Keyboard shortcuts you adjust in Settings. Interface in Portuguese, English and Spanish (the MCP tab is still English only). • Bridge to AI assistants (optional, off by default). Claude, Cursor or another MCP client can read and send messages through your WhatsApp Web. While the bridge is on, the assistant acts on your behalf, so turn it on only with assistants you trust. What it reads falls under its provider's policies. There is also an A2A mode, so two assistants can exchange structured messages. 🔒 PRIVACY AND DATA, PLAINLY • Your account lives on ZeroZapp's server: name, email, password (hash only, which cannot be reversed) and your WhatsApp number, which is optional in the extension and required when you sign up on the website. It is used to create the account and unlock the trial and your plan. We also keep your plan, your credit balance and a browser identifier that limits how many devices use one license. • When you sign up on the website, we also keep where you clicked from (UTM) and, if you ticked it, your consent to WhatsApp marketing messages. • AI with your plan's credits goes through our server. The audio, video or text of that action travels to the AI provider and the result comes back. The same applies to automatic transcription, if you turn it on. We do not store audio, video or message text. We keep the text of a transcription for 1 hour, so the same audio is not charged twice. We also keep, for about a year, a usage record tied to your email (date, type of action, credits, audio size and estimated cost), to measure use and cost of the service. The AI providers follow their own policies. • AI with your own key, from OpenAI or Google Gemini: audio and text go straight from your browser to the provider of that key. With an OpenAI key, video still goes through ZeroZapp, because Whisper does not accept video. With a Gemini key, video also goes straight, up to 20 MB; above that, the file goes through ZeroZapp. • Kept in your browser: settings, favorites, blocked chats, your scheduled messages (with attachments), API keys and the transcriptions you already requested. If Chrome sync is on, Chrome copies your settings, API key included, across your own browsers. • Uploaded only if you turn it on: cloud backup and diagnostics. The backup carries favorites and blocked chats (with contact names and numbers), scheduled messages (with the text you wrote) and settings. Diagnostics carry usage events and error codes, never message text. The backup does not include API keys or your WhatsApp history. • Your conversation content is never sold or used for ads. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW • ZeroZapp only sends a message for you when you schedule one, or when you turn on the bridge to an AI assistant. • For a message to go out on time, your computer must be on, with WhatsApp Web open and connected. • If the time passes while WhatsApp Web is closed, the message goes out as soon as it is back. • ZeroZapp depends on WhatsApp Web.
