ASOCIATIA INFOCONS

Select a barcode on any web page and look it up in the InfoCons product database.

InfoCons helps you check EU Safety Gate alerts for non-compliant products while browsing online. When you find a product you are interested in, you can use the extension to look for available alerts before deciding whether to buy it. The extension covers a wide range of product categories, such as toys, cosmetics, electrical appliances and motor vehicles. Where available, an alert can provide details such as the product name, brand, photo, the risk identified and information about the reported non-compliance. InfoCons brings these details into view while you browse, helping you make a more informed choice. You can search using an EAN, UPC or ISBN code through the floating button or the right-click menu. The information displayed depends on the product and the alerts available for its code.
