The 8 steps ① Time control: enter during 13:00–13:30 (lookups after the close count as post-market screening) ② Gain filter: daily gain 3%–5% (TWSE-listed stocks only) ③ Limit-up gene: a daily gain of ≥9.5% occurred within the past 20 days ④ Volume ratio: today's volume ÷ 5-day average volume ≥ 1 ⑤ Turnover rate: trading volume ÷ shares outstanding, 5%–10% ⑥ Market cap: closing price × shares outstanding, NT$5–20 billion ⑦ Relative strength: 20-day return outperforming the TAIEX index + closing above the 5-day moving average ⑧ Entry structure: close breaks the 10-day high (excluding today) + upper shadow ≤1% Group B consists of limit-up stocks and follows the "shrinking-volume limit-up exception" branch (② does not apply; whether the volume actually shrank is for you to judge intraday per the trading rule).
