縦書き Readerは、どのウェブサイトでも日本語テキストを縦書きで読むことができる拡張機能です。 使い方はシンプル：拡張機能のアイコンをクリックして有効にすると、ページ上の日本語テキストがハイライトされます。読みたい段落をクリックすると、縦書きで表示されます。← 前 / 次 → ボタンで段落を移動したり、セクションカウンターをクリックして任意の段落に直接ジャンプすることもできます。 【パネルモード】 ・下部パネル（デフォルト）― 画面下部に表示。テキストは中央寄せで、首を傾けずに読めます。 ・サイドパネル ― 右側からスライドイン。ページレイアウトを変更しません。 ・フローティングパネル ― 画面上の好きな位置に移動・リサイズ可能。 【特徴】 ・3種類のパネルモード（下部・サイド・フローティング） ・日本語テキストを自動検出（Wikipedia、ニュースサイト等に対応） ・数字は縦中横で表示 ・セクションカウンターから任意の段落にジャンプ可能 ・データ収集なし・トラッキングなし 縦書き Reader lets you read Japanese text on any website the traditional way — top to bottom, columns flowing right to left — without altering the page layout at all. HOW IT WORKS Click the extension icon to activate. Japanese text sections on the page are gently highlighted. Click any one to display that paragraph in 縦書き (vertical script) in a panel. Use the ← 前 / 次 → buttons to step through sections, or click the section counter to jump directly to any section from a list. PANEL MODES 縦書き Reader offers three panel layouts to suit how you like to read: • Bottom panel (default) — sits along the bottom of the screen, text centred for comfortable reading without tilting your head. Drag the top edge to resize. • Side panel — slides in from the right, pushing the page content across so nothing is covered. Drag the left edge to resize. • Floating panel — a free-floating window you can drag anywhere on screen and resize from the corner. Ideal for positioning alongside the text you are reading. Switch between modes instantly using the ▶ ⧉ ▼ buttons in the panel header. That text never leaves your browser. No data is collected, stored, or transmitted. No analytics. No tracking. No account required. PERMISSIONS • "Read your data on all websites" — needed to detect Japanese text sections on any page you choose to use the extension on. The extension only activates when you click the icon; it never runs in the background or accesses pages automatically.
