English description Give every caption a little breathing room. Caption Studio styles existing YouTube closed captions in your browser. Choose Cinema, Soft Background, or Large Text; adjust text size, width, font, and vertical position; or move captions into a reading area below the video. Keep the previous caption for context and replay the current cue when a complete caption timeline is available. Open a regular desktop YouTube video, enable CC, choose a language in YouTube, then click Aa in the player. The settings interface is in Traditional Chinese. Caption text, timing, the current video identifier, selected caption language, and playback state are processed locally to display synchronized captions. When needed, the extension requests the current caption track from YouTube over HTTPS. The developer receives no captions, viewing records, or settings. There is no analytics SDK, advertising, or external AI service. Requires captions supplied by YouTube. Does not generate or independently translate captions. Supports regular desktop watch pages, not Shorts, embedded players, or mobile apps. If a complete timeline is unavailable, live caption styling remains available, but sentence grouping and cue replay may be limited. Segmentation is optimized for reading, not word-level alignment.
