Quickly read through a summary of the web page. Summaries are generated in-browser, on. your local machine - that's safer and faster. You can generate a summary of the entire page or a selected portion of it. v3.4: added overlay font increase/decrease buttons A- and A+. Changing this does not change the default font size in the settings. v3.3: summarization is done locally, within your browser using new Summarizer API. Removed API key requirement. Improved UI. 3.2: Added better handling of check for local summarizer api. 3.3: fixes a bug where import urls file dialog was not showing. Requires minimum Chrome version 138, a machine with some minimum hardware requirements, and a downloaded summarizer model. (See Summarizer API documentation for Chrome). v2.0: added import, export patterns. by default, hide apikey in options if it already exists for privacy. show "zummarizing ... " while processing in overlay mode. button to reduce url to only domain. auto save on pattern change. shortcut key MacCtrl+Z on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+Z otherwise to summarize full page.
