Zovo Marks is a bookmark organizer for people whose saved library has outgrown the folder tree. It adds a keyboard search palette, auto-filing rules, local tag shelves and restore points on top of the bookmarks you already have in Chrome. Everything runs inside your browser and works on your real bookmark folders. What it does - Fuzzy search palette: press Ctrl+Shift+K (Command+Shift+K on Mac) and type a few letters. Titles and URLs are matched by subsequence, so a rough guess still finds the page. Arrow keys move, Enter opens, Shift+Enter opens in a new window. - Quick filter in the toolbar popup, with a count of how many bookmarks are searchable. - Auto-filing rules: "domain is", "URL contains" or "URL matches regex", each pointing at a folder. When you save a new bookmark, the first matching rule moves it into place. Rules can be disabled or deleted at any time. - Tag shelves: add tags to any bookmark from the search results. Each tag becomes a virtual shelf you can open to see every bookmark that carries it. Nothing moves in your real folder tree. - Version history: take a snapshot of your bookmark tree before a clean-up. Restore brings deleted and changed bookmarks back to their snapshot state. Anything added after the snapshot is moved to an overflow folder, never deleted. How it works Zovo Marks builds a local search index from your bookmark titles and URLs and keeps it updated as you add, move or remove bookmarks. Rules, tags and snapshots are saved in the extension's local storage. The dashboard (the options page) is where you manage rules, browse shelves and restore snapshots; the popup and the palette are for finding things fast. The shortcut can be changed at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. Privacy Your bookmarks, rules, tags and snapshots stay in your browser. The extension requests no access to website content, shows no ads and has no analytics. The only network request is a licence check: when you enter a licence key, the key and the product identifier are sent to the Zovo licence service. Pro Without a licence you get the palette, the popup filter, tag shelves, up to 3 filing rules and 3 snapshot slots with one-click restore.
