Zovo Gallery Saver - Save Image Galleries
Overview
Save image galleries with smart discovery, filename rules, a resumable queue, and controlled transfer speed.
Save ordinary web image galleries without sorting files by hand. Gallery Saver detects three common, site-neutral gallery patterns: image metadata published by the page, schema.org image data, and thumbnails linked to full-size files. Each scan runs only after you click Scan this page, and every match is listed with its title, detected artist, source adapter, and dimensions so you can review exactly what will be saved before anything enters the queue. DISCOVERY THAT RESPECTS THE PAGE The three extraction adapters read what the page already publishes: structured image metadata, schema.org ImageObject entries, and thumbnail-to-fullsize link pairs. Nothing is guessed from random page images, and decorative icons, trackers, and sub-100-pixel sprites are filtered out. If a page publishes nothing readable, the extension says so instead of saving junk. FILENAME RULES THAT KEEP ARCHIVES TIDY Compose filenames from tokens for artist, date, index, page title, and source site. Combined with minimum width and height rules, this keeps large batches ordered and human-readable the moment they land in your downloads folder, with no post-download renaming. A QUEUE THAT SURVIVES RESTARTS The queue is stored locally and resumes pending transfers after the popup closes or the browser restarts. Pause and resume at any time, watch per-item status, and clear finished entries in one click. Auto-resume continues interrupted work the next time the browser starts. CONTROLLED TRANSFER SPEED A paid license unlocks a streamed bandwidth cap, so large batches can download without saturating your connection. Bytes are throttled as they stream, then handed to Chrome's download pipeline through a local offscreen blob, keeping memory use flat even on long queues. LICENSE AND LIMITS The core workflow is available at no cost: scanning, reviewing matches, filename rules, queue recovery, and up to 25 active images in the queue. A valid license key raises the active-queue limit to 500 images and enables the streamed bandwidth cap. Current plans are listed at https://zovo.one/pricing License keys are checked locally for shape, and activation grants access only when the license service responds that the key is valid. If the service cannot be reached, activation fails closed rather than guessing. Paid access can be revoked, so a queue in progress always finishes saving even if a later check cannot complete. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBLE USE Gallery Saver handles images only. Protected streaming hosts, and video or audio media, are excluded by design. It does not bypass paywalls, logins, or DRM, and it stores nothing outside your browser except the files you choose to save. You are responsible for saving only content you have permission to download. The action popup is the primary interface, and the same panel opens as the options page. Chrome requests access one origin at a time, starting with the page you scanned, and only after you click. This extension is GPL-3.0-or-later: the complete modified source, build scripts, upstream notices, and change log are public at https://github.com/theluckystrike/zovo-gallery-saver
