Zovo Fluent - Bilingual Reader and Vocabulary Builder

Read any page with a translation under each paragraph, click words into a study deck, and review them daily with spaced repetition.

Zovo Fluent turns the pages you already read into language practice. Switch on bilingual reading for a site and a translation appears directly beneath each paragraph, so you keep the original wording and layout while you read. When a word is worth keeping, click it and it goes into your own study deck with the sentence it came from. What it does - Bilingual page: places the translation under each paragraph and heading, for the site you choose, from the toolbar popup. - Click capture: turn it on per site, then click a word in an article to save it with its source sentence, the nearby translation, the page title and an inline part-of-speech tag. - Reading-level labels: choose Clear, Compact or Grammar style part-of-speech labels. - Daily review: the popup shows how many cards are due today, reveals one card at a time and reschedules it with Again, Hard, Good or Easy. - Study deck: every saved word in the settings page, each with a delete button. - Bilingual video captions: source and translated lines stacked over HTML5 video subtitle tracks. - Selection and mouseover translation, translation styles and per-site rules. - PDF workspace that translates PDF text page by page. How it works Open the popup on a page and turn on Bilingual page; it runs on that tab without needing permanent access to every site. Pick the translation service and target language in settings, or add your own key for another supported service. Captured words and their review schedule are kept in the extension's local storage. Privacy Page text you choose to translate is sent to the translation service selected in settings (by default a public Microsoft translation endpoint), under that service's own terms. Successful translations are cached locally for up to seven days. Your study deck, review history and settings stay in local storage. It downloads public page-rule lists from the upstream rules site, and syncs settings only to a WebDAV, Gist or worker destination you set up. If you enter a licence key, the key and product id are sent to the Zovo licence server for checking. No analytics and no advertising.
