Overview
See what friends are watching—and share your own—across YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and more.
Zoshra turns the things you and your friends watch into a shared feed for discovering what is actually worth your time. Instead of relying only on anonymous trending lists or recommendation algorithms, Zoshra lets you peek into the viewing activity of friends you have chosen to connect with. Open Zoshra to see the YouTube videos, movies, and TV shows your friends are watching, then use their activity as inspiration for what to watch next. YOUR FRIENDS' YOUTUBE FEED YouTube is bigger than short clips and viral trends. Your Zoshra feed can surface the full range of videos your friends spend time with, including podcasts, documentaries, news coverage, interviews, educational videos, explainers, lectures, reviews, commentary, technology videos, business conversations, sports content, and entertainment. When a friend finds a thoughtful podcast episode, a useful tutorial, an important interview, or a documentary you would never have searched for yourself, it can appear in your shared feed. It is a simple way to discover videos through people whose taste and curiosity you already know. MOVIES AND TV, TOGETHER WITH YOUTUBE Zoshra also tracks supported movie and TV streaming services, so your friends can see which films and shows you are currently watching or have watched recently. One feed can help you discover a new YouTube channel, notice the series everyone has quietly started, or find the movie a friend watched last night. WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES The Zoshra browser extension detects active playback on supported streaming websites. When a video is genuinely playing in a visible tab, it sends the relevant viewing details to your Zoshra account so your activity can be shown to friends you have accepted. Depending on the service, those details may include the title, channel or creator, show name, season and episode position, platform, watch progress, and time watched. Live tracking runs automatically after you sign in. You do not need to keep the Zoshra website open, and you do not need to press a sync button every time you watch something. The extension also includes optional history tools for supported services. These tools can check for recent activity that live tracking may have missed or import a larger available history when a service exposes one. History availability differs by platform, and some services only support live tracking or a continue-watching view. BUILT FOR SHARING WITH PEOPLE YOU CHOOSE Your viewing activity is shared with you and the friends you choose to connect with on Zoshra. Finding an account or seeing a basic profile does not automatically reveal that person's viewing activity. A friend connection must be accepted before activity is shared. Zoshra does not sell your viewing data. Zoshra does not use your viewing activity to build advertising profiles, target advertisements, or retarget you elsewhere. The extension uses viewing information to provide the product you asked for: tracking what you watch, organizing it into your account, and sharing it with your accepted friends. SUPPORTED EXPERIENCES Zoshra supports live tracking across a growing range of video and streaming services, including YouTube, Netflix, etc. Please visit https://zoshra.com/supported-services to check out all supported services Exact tracking and history features vary because each service exposes different information in its web player. WHY USE ZOSHRA? • See what friends are watching right now or watched recently. • Discover podcasts, documentaries, news, interviews, and educational videos through people you trust. • Find movies and TV shows without asking every group chat for recommendations. • Keep YouTube and streaming activity together in one social viewing feed. • Share your own taste automatically while you watch. • Control who receives that activity by choosing which friend requests to accept. • Use optional history checks when you want to recover supported activity that may have been missed. Zoshra is a social layer for watching. Install the extension, sign in, connect with friends, and let the things you already watch become useful recommendations for one another.
