I definitely like that zooming is disabled in Chrome by default. I have been plagued by "random and inopportune" zooming, especially when I use any of my laptops, each having a track pad between me and the keys. I'm sure that I'm the cause the zooming and have been wanting to disable zooming for a long time. 1) After installation, the icon didn't show up on the toolbar as shown in the description. Just doesn't work

Great extension, works perfectly !!! Hopefully the developer will update it so it continues to be available!!!

Works really well to help with Accessibility for users where pinch-to-zoom is more an encumbrance than a feature. I have put a request on the GitHub website if this code can be updated by the author or forked to continue the excellent accessibility feature so far. Updated 12 Aug 24: Put the above message into GitHub and the author has very kindly updated the extension to Manifest v3 (and responded). 5 stars!

Hopefully the dev will update this to the new extension API or Google will automatically disable the extension soon. 5 stars as it has worked like a charm for years. (And for now).

Installed on my grandmother pc so she would stop bothering me constantly about facebook being zoomed in. Works amazing. Thank you.

Does not appear to be working on Chrome 123.0.6312.22 for me (under Linux).

Works great after I toggle it off then on again with the toolbar icon. Otherwise it doesn't seem to work on initial page loads (or by refreshing the page, only kicks in by manually toggling it despite the icon indicating that it is enabled already)

Works for everything except when using the back button to return to a google search or when reopening a prior closed tab containing a google search which the zoom is changed from the default 100% to 150%
