Zonov.ai Hospital Finance Agent brings your hospital's billing, collections, dues and discounts into one clear view, right inside the Hospital Information System (HIS) your team already uses. Finance staff get a patient finance panel on the HIS billing page. Administrators get a full Finance Admin Dashboard for the whole hospital, with Excel, CSV and PDF export. The extension reads billing data from your hospital's own HIS. It does not take payments, change bills or replace your HIS. Payments, refunds and approvals are still done in the HIS. One click opens the finance panel next to the page, so staff never have to leave the HIS. Find a patient fast • Search by UHID or patient name • Recent and suggested patients for quick access • Voice commands: say a UHID or a name to find a patient, or say a tab name to open it Billing • Every bill of the patient in one list: bill number, date, total, paid and due • Bill status at a glance: paid, part-paid or unpaid • Item-wise lines for each bill: consultation, lab tests, radiology, pharmacy, procedures, bed charges • Discounts on each bill, with who gave them and whether they were approved • Payment history with the payment mode (cash, UPI, card, NEFT) • Download a bill or the full patient statement as Excel or PDF Journey • A timeline of the patient's visits, services and bills • See what was ordered, what was billed and what is still pending Checkout and discharge clearance • A clear answer to "can this patient be discharged?": total due, paid and outstanding • Clearance is shown only when every bill is settled. If the HIS cannot be reached, the panel says so instead of guessing. It shows the whole hospital's finances for any period: today, 7 days, 30 days, all time or your own dates. Every figure is compared with the previous period of the same length. Overview • Net revenue, collected, unsettled, gross, discount and settled, each with a small trend line • A greeting banner and quick insights: total bills, total patients, average bill amount and pending collections • Sales against the previous period, with a plain explanation of why they changed: more bills, a higher average bill, which service lines and which doctors Collections and revenue • Collection rate, with billed, collected and pending side by side • Billed vs collected trend chart • Collection summary by doctor, service line, bill type, department or status • Payment modes: cash, card, NEFT/UPI and others • Whether collection is improving or falling against the previous period Outstanding and dues • Total outstanding, patients with dues, bills with dues, average due per patient and oldest due • Outstanding by age: 0–7 days, 8–30 days, 31–60 days and over 60 days • Outstanding summary by doctor, service line, bill type, department, status, scheme, age and bill size • Top outstanding patients and patients who owe on more than one bill, so your team knows whom to call first • The largest single due, with the patient and bill number Discounts and insurance • Total discounts, insurance/scheme adjustments, pending, approved and rejected discounts, and discount as a percentage of gross • Who gave each discount, who approved it, on which bill and for which patient • Pending discount approvals, largest first • Discount trend, and discount by department, service line, doctor or bill type • Discount risk monitor: discounts with no approval on record, possible duplicate discounts and the amount exposed • Top discount recipients for the period Review • Bills whose HIS record is incomplete or does not add up, for example missing amounts or totals that do not match their lines • Review by priority, by age and by doctor, with a worklist sorted by importance Gross margin • Gross margin by service line, labelled clearly with the cost source it is based on Staff • Manage finance staff accounts and see the activity log (needs the optional Zonov staff backend) Export • Bills CSV, Discounts CSV and Excel reports for any period • Print or save as PDF ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ACCURATE BY DESIGN • Figures come from your HIS records. Nothing is estimated or filled in. • If an amount is not reported by the HIS, the dashboard says so instead of counting it as zero. • Cancelled bills are left out of dues and discounts. • Read-only: the extension never records a payment, checkout or refund. Money is always handled in your HIS. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SECURE AND CONFIGURABLE • Admin-only sign-in for the Finance Admin Dashboard. Finance staff accounts cannot open it. • "Keep me signed in" is optional. Without it, the sign-in ends after 8 hours. • No server address is built in. Your hospital enters its own HIS and finance API addresses on the Settings page, and the extension contacts no server until they are saved. • Server addresses must use secure https. • The HIS login token is used only to read your hospital's own billing data. It is never sent anywhere else. • Sign-in, settings and cached bills are stored only in the browser's local extension storage. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ GETTING STARTED 1. Install the extension. The Settings page opens automatically. 2. Enter your hospital's Finance API and HIS API addresses, then click Save. You can also open Settings later: right-click the toolbar icon and choose Options, or click "Server settings" in the dashboard. 3. Reload any open HIS tabs. 4. Finance staff: open a patient's billing page in the HIS and click the Zonov Finance icon. 5. Administrators: click the extension's toolbar icon and sign in to the Finance Admin Dashboard. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED • Storage: keeps your sign-in session, server settings and cached bills on this computer. • Downloads: saves the Excel, CSV and PDF reports you export. • Side panel: lets you open the Finance Admin Dashboard in Chrome's side panel. • Access to websites: every hospital runs its HIS on its own domain, so the extension needs to work on that domain.
