ZIP Search New Tab

A clean, distraction-free new tab page with the ZIP Search logo and a search box. Searches use your default search engine.

ZIP Search New Tab replaces Chrome's new tab page with a clean, distraction-free search page: just the ZIP Search logo, a search box and a language selector. No news feeds, no widgets, no noise. What changes when you install ZIP Search New Tab - Every new tab opens a focused search page with the ZIP Search logo and a search box. - Searches from the new tab page use your default search engine, the same one your address bar uses. The extension doesn't change your search engine or any other browser setting. Languages The search box prompt is available in 33 languages. The extension picks your browser's language automatically, and you can switch at any time using the selector on the new tab page. Your choice is remembered across sessions. Supported languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese (Simplified), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Ukrainian, Vietnamese. Light and dark mode The new tab page automatically matches your system theme. The logo, search box and language selector all adapt, with no manual toggle needed. Privacy by design ZIP Search New Tab does not collect, store or send your browsing history, search queries or any personal data. It uses only two permissions: - Search: to run your query with your default search engine. - Storage: to remember your selected language.
