ZHX Image Grabber is a fast, lightweight, and privacy-first browser extension designed to discover, filter, and batch download images from any webpage. Built strictly under modern Manifest V3 standards: all image scanning, dimension filtering, format conversion, and ZIP compression take place 100% locally inside your browser. Your images and browsing data are never uploaded to external servers. The interface lives in the *Side Panel* (Chrome & Edge) or *Sidebar* (Firefox), so it stays open while you scroll and interact with the page. KEY FEATURES: Smart Deep Scanner: - Detects standard `<img>` tags, responsive high-res images (`srcset` & `<picture>`), CSS background images, HTML5 `<canvas>` renderings, and lazy-loaded assets. - Integrated automated smooth scroll to trigger lazy-loaded images on infinite-scroll pages. Side Panel & Sidebar: - The panel stays open while you click, scroll, or read the page, instead of closing on its own like a popup. - Automatically follows the active tab and refreshes itself when a tab navigates to a new page. - Action buttons (Find, Stop, Download, ZIP) stay pinned at the top while you scroll through the image list. - The gallery adapts to the panel width, which you can resize freely. - A gear button in the header opens the Settings page. Flexible Filtering & Sorting: - **One-Click Quick Resolution Presets:** Instant filter chips for HD (≥1080p), 4K (≥2160p), 1:1 Square, and 16:9 Banner. - Manual pixel-based dimension filtering (minimum width and height thresholds). - Aspect ratio filters: All Ratios, Landscape, Portrait, or Square (1:1). - File format filters: JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, SVG, or other web formats. - Sort gallery by discovery order, largest dimension, or smallest dimension. - Save custom filter presets tailored automatically per website domain. PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS: - We DO NOT collect, inspect, or store your browsing history, page content, or downloaded files. - Zero third-party telemetry, analytics, or advertising trackers. - The only communication with our server is an anonymous license status check using a random install ID, which also runs periodically in the background. If you choose to submit a promo claim, the username/proof link you enter is sent for review. - Scanning runs only when you open the panel and press the scan button.
