Zero
Overview
Lets the Zero drive THIS Chrome (with your real login session) via chrome.debugger
Zero Browser Bridge connects your Chrome browser to the Zero AI platform, enabling Zero to assist you with real browsing tasks using your actual login session. Key features: • Page Capture — Capture screenshots and compressed HTML of any page you're viewing, with one click. • React Component Export — Automatically extract clean, reusable React/JSX components from any web page's DOM structure, ready for use in your projects. • AI-Driven Automation — Let Zero navigate, click, fill forms, and interact with web pages on your behalf, using chrome.debugger for precise control. • Side Panel Interface — Access Zero's controls via a convenient side panel, opened with Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+E. • Real Session Support — Unlike headless browsers, Zero operates within your actual Chrome session, preserving your logins, cookies, and preferences. How it works: Zero Browser Bridge uses the Chrome Debugger API to let the Zero platform send commands to your browser. A native messaging host connects the extension to the Zero desktop client, enabling two-way communication. All operations happen locally on your machine — your browsing data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to upload content to Zero. The extension injects content scripts on supported pages to enable page analysis, accessibility checks, and visual element extraction. The side panel provides a clean UI for managing connection status, authentication, and task execution. Permissions explained: • debugger — Required for Zero to read and control page content programmatically. • nativeMessaging — Connects to the Zero desktop app via a local native host. • tabs / tabGroups — Manages browser tabs for multi-tab automation. • scripting — Injects content scripts dynamically when needed. • cookies — Reads session cookies for authentication with the Zero platform. • storage — Saves extension settings and authentication state locally. • clipboardWrite — Copies exported code to your clipboard. • offscreen / alarms / sidePanel — Keeps the service worker alive and powers the side panel UI. Zero Browser Bridge is designed for use with the Zero platform (https://oxy-zero.jd.com). An active Zero account and the Zero desktop client are required.
