Overview

Turn any page or video into a lesson, quiz or class practice, comment on student Docs, and see how a Doc was written.

Zelvi for Teachers works from the page you are already on. Open the side panel on an article, a YouTube video, a PDF in the browser or a Google Doc, and Zelvi builds class material from that source, not from the internet at large. Make it from this page - Lesson plan (45 minutes, I do / we do / you do) - Quiz and worksheet with answer keys - Leveled reading: the same text at three reading levels - Vocabulary and discussion questions - Feedback on student writing you paste or select - Save any of them as a Google Doc in your Drive in one click, or copy them Class practice that counts toward mastery Turn the page into practice questions for one of your Zelvi classes. Every question shows its answer, a hint, and the exact words on the page it is based on. You tick the ones you want, and students practise them with hints; each answer counts toward that skill's mastery, so you see who has it and who does not. No class yet? Name one in the panel and Zelvi makes it, adds the questions and gives you the code students join with. Comment in a student's Google Doc Zelvi drafts comments tied to the student's own words: strengths and next steps, never a grade. You untick what you don't want, and the rest are added to the Doc's comments, each one starting with the sentence it is about. Inspect writing See how a Google Doc was written: time spent, writing sessions, text that arrived in one go, how much was revised, and a replay of the writing. It reads the Doc's version history in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. It shows how the text got into the Doc, not who wrote it: pasting from notes, voice typing and accessibility tools also add text in large pieces, and Zelvi never labels a student's work as AI-written. For K-12, colleges, allied health and career and technical programs. Requires a Zelvi educator account (school or college staff). Privacy: the extension reads a tab only when you press a button. It does not read other tabs or your browsing history. Full details: https://zelvi.ai/privacy#chrome-extension
