ZapRedact removes sensitive information from PDF documents — entirely on your device. Why local matters HIPAA, attorney-client privilege, financial compliance, basic privacy hygiene — none of these survive uploading a sensitive document to a cloud redaction service. ZapRedact runs the entire pipeline (text extraction, OCR, pattern detection, redaction, export) inside your browser. The PDF is read directly off your disk. Nothing is uploaded.
