Overview

Scan a QR code with your phone to fill a password, or walk up and approve on your phone. No typing either way.

ZapQR fills passwords from your phone, so you never type one into a browser again. There are two ways to fill. On a sign-in page, a ZapQR mark appears next to the password field. Click it and a QR code opens. Scan the code with the ZapQR app on your phone, approve with Face ID, and the username and password fill in front of you. Each code lasts 60 seconds and then refreshes. Walk-Up Unlock is the second way. Pair your phone with your computer over Bluetooth from the ZapQR side panel, leave a sign-in page open, and click "Fill this page". Your phone asks you to approve, you approve with Face ID, and the fields fill. Nothing is sent until you approve. The Bluetooth link between your phone and the extension is end-to-end encrypted with a key made fresh for every connection, and every fill needs your approval on the phone. A credential is only ever filled on the site it was approved for. You need the ZapQR app for iPhone, and a Chromium browser with Bluetooth for Walk-Up Unlock. Your passwords stay in the ZapQR app on your phone. This extension keeps no vault and no copy of what it fills, and it talks to one server, relay.zapqr.ai, only to carry an approved fill from your phone to the field you clicked.
