Data the extension collects and transmits to ytubviral.com over HTTPS: • Login credentials — if you sign in via the extension popup, your email and password are sent to ytubviral.com to authenticate you. They are not stored locally; only the resulting session token is kept in chrome.storage.local. • Session-based connection (no password) — alternatively, when you are logged into ytubviral.com in your browser, the extension can obtain an authentication token from your existing ytubviral.com session over HTTPS. This lets Google sign-in users (who have no password) connect. Only the resulting token is stored in chrome.storage.local. • Authentication token — stored locally in chrome.storage.local to keep your session active. • Language preference — stored locally in chrome.storage.local ("es" or "en"). • Local usage counters — a count of how many times you've opened the scorecard, a flag for whether a review prompt has been shown, and a flag for whether you've dismissed the "connect your channel" hint — all stored only in chrome.storage.local. These are public identifiers, not private data. • YouTube search queries — when you search on YouTube, the search term is sent to ytubviral.com to return competition, opportunity scores, and related keywords. • YouTube channel identifiers — when you visit a channel page or use the competitor analysis feature, the channel URL or ID is sent to ytubviral.com to fetch public channel statistics. • YouTube Studio draft metadata — when you edit a video in YouTube Studio, the extension reads your draft title, description, and tags from the editor fields and sends them to ytubviral.com for live SEO scoring. This data is processed in real time and not stored on our servers. • Your own channel stats — the extension can display your channel's subscriber count, view count, growth trends, and a personalized best-time-to-post recommendation. This data is fetched from ytubviral.com using your authenticated session. Note: before you connect, the extension can show a full 0–100 title score (length, keywords, hook words, formatting) on video and Shorts pages. This is computed locally from the page's own title text and is never transmitted anywhere. In addition, if you are logged into ytubviral.com and the extension is not yet connected, this script requests an authentication token from your session over HTTPS and passes it to the extension (the session-based connection described above). A compact score card appears docked to the side of the screen while you watch — tap it to expand into the full breakdown, same as on regular videos. Does this work on Firefox? Not yet — Chrome and Chromium-based browsers only (Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera) for now. Will it slow down YouTube?
