Opens YouTube videos at ytbychannel.com, where the channel is in the URL, so a filter can allow one channel and block the rest. --- YouTube's URLs never say whose video it is. That makes "allow this one channel" a rule you cannot write: a filter matches on URL prefixes, and youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ tells it nothing about the channel. This extension fixes that at the point of the click. Click a video on YouTube and it opens at ytbychannel.com/RickAstleyYT/dQw4w9WgXcQ instead — the same video, playing, with the channel in the path. Now the rule exists: allow ytbychannel.com/RickAstleyYT. Only videos are touched. Search, channel pages, playlists, your subscriptions feed, history, YouTube Studio and every YouTube embed on the web behave exactly as they always have. You choose which sites it applies to. youtube.com is on from the start, and covers m.youtube.com and youtu.be links; music.youtube.com has a switch of its own and starts off, since with it on every song you click opens a tab. You can also choose where the video opens — a new tab in front, a new tab behind, or the tab you clicked from — and whether the YouTube tab follows the video as well, for the comments and the sidebar. Video links opened outside YouTube can be caught too, so a link someone sends you goes to the same place. Right-click any YouTube link for "Open in ytbychannel", or use the keyboard shortcut to send the video you are on. It looks nothing up and asks nobody: the video id is already in the link, and the channel is worked out by the site. No account, no tracking, no data collected. This is a convenience, not a filter — it decides where a click lands, it does not block anything. It is built to sit alongside a real filter such as Pluckeye.
