Click a song on YouTube and you get… a never-ending Mix. The video you picked is buried in an auto-generated radio playlist, the next track starts on its own, and 40 minutes later you're somewhere you never meant to be. YT PurePlay fixes that. Click a video and you get just that video. WHAT IT DOES • Removes YouTube Mix, My Mix and auto-radio playlists before the page loads, so there's no Mix queue, no flicker and no reload • Leaves your own playlists and Watch Later alone (you can block those too if you want) • Works when you click inside YouTube, open a link in a new tab, or paste a URL OPTIONAL FOCUS MODE Each switch is off until you turn it on: • Turn off autoplay: no rolling into the next video • Hide Shorts: hides Shorts shelves, and opens Shorts links as normal videos • Hide end screens: no suggestion cards when a video ends • Hide recommendations: hides the "Up next" sidebar and the home feed YOU STAY IN CONTROL • Pause for 15 minutes, an hour, until tomorrow, or indefinitely • Allow playlists on just the current tab • Whitelist channels whose playlists you want to keep • Alt+Shift+Y pauses and resumes from anywhere • Copy a clean link to the current video without playlist junk PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no account • Nothing you do is sent anywhere.
