Sort your saved YouTube Music albums by artist, or in your own drag-and-drop order.

YouTube Music can sort your saved albums by date added or by title, and that is where it stops: no sorting by artist, no order of your own, no way to group albums. This extension gives you the rest. Scan your library once and the extension keeps its own copy of your album grid. Sort it by artist, or drag albums into any order you like and group them under your own section headings: Jazz, Heavy Metal, whatever your shelves would say. The sorted grid appears right on music.youtube.com in place of the stock one, and every album still opens in YouTube Music as normal. Installing opens your albums library and asks one question: keep your arrangement in this browser, or connect Google Drive and keep it across computers. Answer it and your albums load. That is the whole of the setup, and there is no account beyond the YouTube Music one you already have. Come back any time through music.youtube.com > Library > Albums, or the extension's toolbar icon. New albums you save land under a dated "New" heading at the top, so they never get lost, and the library keeps itself current while you use YouTube Music. Your library data stays in your browser. To use the same order on two machines, connect Google Drive, at that first question or later from the status in the toolbar, and each machine picks up the other's changes through a private folder in your own Drive. Export and Import give you a JSON copy to keep or move by hand. Moving from Spotify? The import reads the albums saved in your Spotify library, finds each one on YouTube Music, and adds the ones you tick. You see every match before anything is added, albums already in your library are skipped, and nothing is ever removed from either service. Add Album searches YouTube Music for an artist or album, marks the ones already in your library, and adds the ones you tick. Right-click an album and choose More by this artist to see the rest of that artist's albums. The extension stores your albums' titles, artists and cover-art links, along with your order, sections and settings. It has no server of its own, sends nothing to the developer, and has no analytics.
