Overview
Remember and auto-apply volume per YouTube channel. Calculate optimal volume from Content Loudness
Remember volume settings for each YouTube channel and automatically apply them when you open a video. ■ Features • Per-channel volume memory Set volume once, and it's automatically applied every time you watch a video from the same channel. • Optimal volume from Content Loudness Reads YouTube's Content Loudness metadata and calculates the optimal volume based on your target LUFS. Apply the suggested volume to a channel with one click. • Separate volume for Live and Video Set different volume levels for live streams (including archives) and regular videos on the same channel. • Manual volume control Adjust volume from 0% to 600% using a slider or preset buttons. • Gain overlay (optional) Display the current gain value next to the volume bar in the player. Toggle on/off from the settings page. ■ How it works • Does not touch YouTube's native volume slider. Controls volume independently via Web Audio API GainNode. • No audio processing for channels without saved settings (pure passthrough). • All data is stored locally. No external network requests. • Supports English and Japanese. ■ How to use 1. Open an archived video from a channel 2. Check the Content Loudness and Suggested volume in the popup 3. Click "Apply to channel" 4. Open other videos or live streams from the same channel — saved volume is applied automatically ■ Permissions • storage: Save volume settings • activeTab: Apply volume to the current tab's video • youtube.com: Only operates on YouTube video pages
