Overview
Google Search URL parameters, SERP reading, AI Overview and ads, position log: SEO without leaving Google.
Y'SERP turns the Google results page into an SEO and SEA analysis tool, without leaving your browser: URL parameters, SERP reading, AI Overview, ads, and a local log that keeps track of what you see day after day. WHO IT IS FOR • SEO consultants and teams: see the SERP the way Google serves it (country, language, city, no personalisation), measure the room left to organic, know who is cited in the AI Overview, follow your positions and citations over time. • SEA consultants and teams: ads and advertisers of a query, final URLs, landing pages, competitors across queries. • Anyone who wants a neutral SERP, without AI Overview or personalisation, in one click. WHAT YOU SEE IN THE RESULTS PAGE • Under each result: the final URL and the position number (one click copies position, URL and title). • Right of each result: an "AIO" chip when the site is cited in the AI Overview, a chip when it also buys an ad, and its change (▲2, ▼1, new) when the SERP has already been seen. • A banner at the top of the page: number of results, active parameters, ads, AI Overview, and for each of your followed domains "position 3 (▲2 since 3 Oct) · cited in the AI Overview, which precedes this result (867 px)", with the full explanation in a tooltip. • The fold line and a zones panel: screen share of organic, ads, questions, videos, images, places, AI Overview, comparison sites and stores; inferred search intent. • Next to the AI Overview, a sources card: rank, clickable host, organic position or "outside the top 10", visible or folded part, "other page than the ranking one". Draggable, closable, sources copied in one click. • On request, from a button in the banner or in the popup, the audit of the ranking pages: rewritten title or not, H1 with or without the query, structured data, hreflang, canonical, noindex, word count, with a per-page table at the top of the results and a chip on pages that declare international versions. THE POPUP, SIX TABS • SERP: summary in figures (organic share of the column, first organic result in pixels, results visible without scrolling), search intent, top 10 diversity (distinct domains, share of platforms such as Wikipedia, YouTube or Reddit), zones with a Copy button, questions, related searches; save a SERP and compare it on a chosen date; launch the ranking pages audit. • AI Overview: overview height and share before the fold, sources and top 10 coverage, your domains' situation (cited, ranked but not cited, overview before or after your result), why the overview is missing (verbatim, Web mode, next page), reload the same search without AI Overview, analyse the sources outside the top 10. Across the log: share of queries with an AI Overview, queries where you are cited, overview above your result, then a table of queries with your situation (cited, ranked but not cited, cited without ranking) filterable by what is left to work on, and the most cited hosts. • Ads: text and Shopping ads, paid share of the page, advertisers on one side and organic-only domains on the other, copy, final URLs without tracking parameters, extensions, landing pages (HTTP code, redirects, tags present), competitors across all the queries of the log. Tables sort on a header click. • Search: result type (classic Web without AI Overview, Images, Videos, News, Forums, Shopping, Homework, Jobs), verbatim, no query correction, hidden results, sliding window or date range, SafeSearch, restriction to a site or a file type, results page, target country, interface language, results language and country, city. Fourteen built-in profiles (neutral SERP, US view, local audit, SEA audit, ten country views) plus your own. A badge shows how many parameters are active. • Display: every page annotation can be switched on or off, ten highlighted domains with their colour (these are your followed domains), hiding of ads or modules to read the bare SERP, font size. • Tools: SERP log (switch, journal name, JSON backup, restore, clear), review by domain (queries seen, changes and AI Overview in three tiles; per query, position and change, best position, AI Overview citation, ads, as short badges; changes only, sorted, paginated, copy ready for an email, CSV export), CSV export of a SERP or of a batch of SERPs, full-page capture, language, diagnostic. THE LOG, DAY AFTER DAY • Type the audited site and its competitors: a query enters the log at its first visit where a followed domain appears, then each of its visits is recorded, present or absent. One entry per query and per day, 500 at most. • A switch records every SERP under a journal name, one per set of queries ("shoes analysis", "client SEA audit"). • The extension never opens a search by itself: it records the pages you open. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • No data leaves your browser: no server, no account, no tracking, no advertising. The log stays on your computer. • Active only on google.com results pages. Access to other sites is requested only when you click "Analyse the pages", "Analyse the sources" or "Analyse landing pages", and can be removed at any time. • Nothing is injected into Google's AI Overview block, no click on any ad. • No CPC, bids, search volumes or triggering keywords: only what is visible in the page. Interface in English or French. Built by a technical SEO consultant for daily use, published by Y'a pas de quoi. On installation a welcome page opens on yapasdequoi.com, a plain visit with no data sent. Not affiliated with Google. Google and Google Search are trademarks of Google LLC. What's new since 1.24.6: - "Analyse the ranking pages" button right in the results page; the audit becomes a per-page table (title and H1 against the query, rewritten title or meta, useful schema.org types, hreflang with languages, words, JS rendering, noindex), with a 🌐 chip on results whose page declares hreflang. - "Diversity" line: distinct domains in the top 10 and the share taken by platforms (Wikipedia, YouTube, Reddit, social networks). - AI Overview tab: three tiles and a single filtered table of your queries (cited, ranked but not cited, cited without ranking, brand queries). - Review by domain: tiles, short badges (▲2, new, lost, cited 3/4, citation gained or lost), "Changes only" filter. - Search tab folded (Strict search, Date, Scope) with active-parameter counts; "Results page" selector. - Lighter popup: what the page already shows is folded, not repeated; shorter zones panel; shorter Ads line in the banner (switchable off); free product grids are told apart from ads. - Entity SERPs (people, brands): the card grid at the top is counted, the banner sits above it. - Exact-query matching ignores accents, case and ligatures. No new permission: site access stays optional, the log stays local.
