Take back control of your YouTube experience with three simple, permanent fixes: - subscriptions as homepage: YouTube.com opens directly to your Subscriptions feed instead of the algorithmically-curated recommendations page. - no YouTube Shorts: shorts are hidden everywhere (the homepage shelf, sidebar, search results, and subscription feed). Visiting a /shorts/ URL automatically redirects to the standard video player. - comments first: on watch pages the comments section appears directly below the video player, no more scrolling past dozens of recommended videos to find the discussion. No account needed. No data collection. No permissions beyond reading the YouTube page. Just CSS and DOM manipulation, locally in your browser.
