YouTube without Translation
Overview
Disables YouTube autotranslation for titles, descriptions, chapters, channel branding, and audio (original track).
YouTube often auto-translates video titles, descriptions, chapters, and may even switch audio to dubbed/translated tracks. If you prefer watching in the original language, this quickly becomes distracting — and changing your region to “fix it” can mess with recommendations and trends. YouTube without Translation restores original content where YouTube shows auto-translated UI elements and, when possible, switches audio back to “Original / Original audio”. Features: 📝 Original video titles — watch page, feeds/lists, search results, Shorts, and some embed contexts 📄 Original descriptions — watch page, plus description snippets in video cards (e.g., search results) ⏱️ Original chapters — restores chapter titles using the original description 🎨 Original channel branding — restores channel name/description on channel pages and in channel lists 🎧 Original audio track — best-effort “Original” track selection; includes a separate best-effort workaround for m.youtube.com Controls: 🎛️ Master enable/disable toggle ✅ Per-feature toggles 🔄 Optional auto-reload for instant applying Works on: youtube.com, youtube-nocookie.com, m.youtube.com Privacy: no analytics/trackers; settings only; not affiliated with YouTube/Google
