YouTube Wheel Master lets you control YouTube videos with your mouse wheel — seek, volume, and playback speed without dragging the progress bar. HOW TO USE • On first install, click "Allow and enable" on the welcome page or extension popup (one-time) • Open a video on youtube.com/watch or YouTube Shorts • Hover your cursor over the video player • Wheel up — skip forward (default 5s; choose 1/5/10/30s in the popup) • Wheel down — skip backward • Shift + wheel — 30-second jump • Ctrl + wheel — volume up / down • Alt + wheel — playback speed up / down • A brief on-screen display shows your current position (e.g. 1:23 / 10:45) KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS (optional) • Alt + J — seek backward • Alt + L — seek forward • Alt + Shift + J — previous chapter (watch only) • Alt + Shift + L — next chapter (watch only) Customize at chrome://extensions/shortcuts FEATURES • Wheel-first controls with optional keyboard shortcuts • Configurable seek step in the extension popup • Syncs with YouTube's built-in progress bar • Prevents page scroll while using the wheel over the player • One-time permission — then works automatically on watch & Shorts pages • No host_permissions in manifest until you approve optional access Works on youtube.com/watch and YouTube Shorts.
