YouTube Watch Party turns any YouTube video into a shared viewing room. You press play, your friends see it play. You pause, everyone pauses. You jump to the good part, the whole room jumps with you. It feels like sitting on one couch, even when you are in different cities. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the YouTube video you want to watch together. 2. Click "Start watch party" in the panel. The extension creates a private room and gives you a code. 3. Send the code to your friends. Any messenger works. 4. Friends paste the code into "Join one" and click "Join watch party". Their browser opens your video and locks onto your playback. From that moment playback is synchronized for everyone in the room: play, pause, seeking, playback speed, even switching to another video. When the host picks the next video, every member follows automatically. WHY IT IS DIFFERENT No screen sharing. Everyone streams the video directly from YouTube in full quality on their own connection. Nobody has to watch a blurry, stuttering copy of someone else's screen, and your upload bandwidth stays free for the voice call you run alongside. Smart drift correction. Small timing differences between players are fixed by gently adjusting playback speed for a moment instead of jumping the video around. The picture never freezes just because someone's connection blinked for a second. Honest ad handling. Ads on YouTube are personal, so every viewer gets their own. If the host gets an ad, the room politely waits at the last shared moment until it ends, then everyone continues together.
