I don't understand why, but this literally copied big parts of my extension (Youtube-Volume-Scroll) which is open source, I looked at the code of this extension and he didn't even bother changing the function names... seriously

This was exactly what I was looking for. I prefer to keep my windows default audio set to 100% so most apps and websites I have to lower down to like 1-10% volume. However, Youtube only lets you control audio in 5% increments. 5% is often too loud for a lot of videos. I had been looking for a solution for a while and this finally has done it. Mouse over the Speaker icon and use your scroll wheel. If you use your scroll wheel over the volume bar, it will still go in 5% increments.
