YouTube Upload Speed & ETA
Overview
Shows real-time upload speed, progress and ETA while you upload videos in YouTube Studio.
YouTube Studio shows you a percentage while your video uploads — but not how fast it's going or when it'll actually finish. This extension adds that missing information as a small, unobtrusive overlay right in Studio. WHAT YOU GET - Live upload speed (MB/s), averaged over a rolling window so it doesn't jitter - Estimated time remaining, updated every second - Upload progress with exact bytes sent / total size - Support for multiple simultaneous uploads, each shown as its own row - A draggable panel you can move out of the way - Automatically disappears a few seconds after each upload finishes HOW IT WORKS The extension watches the browser's own upload-progress events for the requests YouTube Studio sends when you upload a video. It doesn't modify your upload, doesn't slow anything down, and doesn't touch any other part of the page. PRIVACY This extension collects nothing. There is no analytics, no external server, no network request of its own — all calculations happen locally in your browser and are discarded when the upload finishes. It only runs on studio.youtube.com. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who regularly uploads videos to YouTube and wants a clearer sense of upload speed and time remaining — creators on slower connections, people uploading large 4K files, or anyone who's tired of guessing. Note: this is an independent, unofficial tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
