Read, sync, translate, and export YouTube video transcripts directly in the browser side panel.

YouTube Transcript Sync adds a focused transcript side panel to YouTube videos. Open a video, click the extension, and read the available captions beside the player without leaving the page. The transcript follows playback, highlights the current caption segment, and lets you click a timestamped line to jump to that moment in the video. You can show or hide timestamps, switch between available caption tracks, and use YouTube's available auto-translation languages when they are provided for the video. For note-taking workflows, the side panel can send the transcript text to an open Notion page, or open Notion when no tab is available. Pro users can copy transcripts, copy raw JSON, and download transcript data as `.txt` or `.json` from the options page.
