YouTube to Gemini

Send YouTube videos to Gemini for summarization.

Add a Summarize button to YouTube video thumbnails and prepare the selected video in Gemini without opening the video first. Features: - Works on the YouTube home page, search results, channels, related videos, and playlists. - Sends the selected video's title, URL, and your summary prompt to Gemini. - Uses your browser language for summaries by default, with manual language selection available. - Supports a customizable prompt with `{language}`, `{title}`, and `{url}` placeholders. - Fills the Gemini prompt for review before sending by default. - Optional automatic sending is disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled in settings. - Does not copy prompts to the system clipboard; if automatic insertion fails, the prompt is shown in a read-only field. Privacy: The developer operates no server and does not receive analytics or browsing data. The selected video title, URL, and prompt are disclosed directly to Google Gemini only after the user clicks Summarize. See the privacy policy for details.
