YouTube Thumbnail Vault
Overview
Save YouTube thumbnails and metadata locally — fast, private, queryable.
YouTube Thumbnail Vault saves the thumbnail and metadata of any YouTube video into a fast, private, searchable library that lives entirely in your browser. Great for creators, editors, and researchers who study packaging and want their own reference board of thumbnails — without spreadsheets, screenshots, or a third-party service. WHAT IT DOES - Save a video's thumbnail plus title, channel, duration and more with one click, straight from the watch page or the feed. - Browse everything in a clean gallery — open it instantly with Ctrl+Shift+Y (Command+Shift+Y on Mac). - Search and filter your vault by title and channel. - Everything is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB). No account, no sign-in, no upload. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Works only on youtube.com and fetches thumbnail images from Google's own image host. - Collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere — your saved data never leaves your machine. Lightweight and built on Manifest V3.
