YouTube Text Capture is a small, focused tool for copying text from YouTube videos. Use it for lectures, tutorials, slides, language learning, and any video where useful text appears on screen. It captures visible captions and OCR text from the video player only. OCR runs locally in your browser. This extension does not use a cloud OCR service, does not require an account, and does not send captured video text to extension-owned servers.
