YouTube Tags — organize your subscriptions, control your feed Group your YouTube subscriptions with custom tags, filter your subscription feed by topic, and sort the sidebar by how often you watch each channel. KEY FEATURES • Tag and organize channels: create tags with custom names and colors, assign multiple tags to a channel, and get started with a guided setup. • Filter your subscription feed: choose one or more tags to show videos from those channels. • Sort your sidebar: sort by watch frequency over your chosen time period, or prioritize channels with new videos. • Optional Theater mode and home-to-subscriptions redirect. • Optional feed cleanup: reduce Shorts and livestream cards. Coverage depends on YouTube's changing layouts. • Optional weekly subscription sync: while a YouTube tab is open, check for new and removed subscriptions using background requests. Automatic sync does not open tabs or windows. • Optional AI tag suggestions: use your own OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter API key to suggest tags for individual channels or a batch of unsorted channels. Provider usage charges may apply. • Current model lists: browse a public model catalog before entering a key; fetch account-specific models when available. You can also enter a custom model ID. • Backup and restore: export tags, channels, and preferences to JSON. API keys are excluded from exports. • Diagnostics: view a local report and optionally send a bug report to the developer. PRIVACY Tags, channel data, watch statistics, preferences, and configured API keys are stored locally. The developer operates no backend and receives no automatic analytics or telemetry. AI suggestions are optional. When you request them, channel information and existing tag names are sent directly to your chosen provider using your key. Model-list requests may contact that provider or models.dev; the public catalog request contains no API key or channel/tag data.
