YouTube Study Notes turns video captions into editable study notes on youtube.com/watch pages. Works out of the box: Click Basic notes to format the public transcript into structured notes — no account, no API key, no extra software. Optional AI summaries: Use AI Generate with Ollama (free, on your PC) or your own OpenAI/Gemini API key. Features: - Sidebar panel (Alt+S or floating Study Notes button) - Load transcript from YouTube captions - Note styles: detailed, quick, Cornell, exam, flashcards - Click [timestamps] to jump in the video - Export Markdown, PDF, Anki CSV - Local library with search and tags Requirements: A YouTube video with captions/CC for note generation. AI features need Ollama or a user-provided API key.
