Keep YouTube's playback controls readable while watching side-by-side stereoscopic 3D video. YouTube Stereo Controls by Alon Boroda paints the live native player controls into both eye images, including the timeline, thumbnail previews, volume, subtitles, settings and quality menus. Enable "3D controls" inside the YouTube player to enter fullscreen. Features: - Native controls rendered for both eyes, with mouse mapping for a combined full-width 3D view or two visible SBS panels. - Accurate timeline clicks, scrubbing and thumbnail previews. - A working volume slider and click/tap-to-pause, with centered play/pause feedback. - Double-click the video to leave or re-enter stereo fullscreen. - Video convergence slider that adjusts the video images independently of the interface. Zero restores the original alignment. - Aspect button with Auto, Full SBS, 16:9, 4:3 and 21:9 modes to correct stretched video while centering each eye separately. - A stereo cursor that shares the UI depth. The interface and cursor start at screen depth, with optional pop-out controls. - Automatic access to the original full-color SBS frames in supported YouTube-tagged rectangular 3D videos, instead of YouTube's anaglyph/single-eye overlay. Hardware and content: You need a display, headset or viewing setup capable of showing side-by-side stereo. This extension does not add physical 3D capability to an ordinary monitor or create a new stereo pair from ordinary 2D footage. SBS viewing modes and browser compatibility vary by device. Rectangular left/right content is supported; VR180, 360, top/bottom video and baked-in red/cyan anaglyph without a stereo source are not converted. Optional Samsung Odyssey activation: The SBS controls do not require Samsung hardware. Automatic Odyssey activation requires the separately installed Odyssey Stereo Controls tray helper, Samsung's compatible runtime and compatible hardware. The helper checks the display containing the video; the current helper recognizes the verified Odyssey G90XF (SAM7860) and skips other or unknown displays. The extension does not install that helper. Without it, choose your device's SBS mode manually. Contact support for companion availability and setup. Getting started: 1. Open a side-by-side or supported YouTube-tagged rectangular 3D video on www.youtube.com. 2. Click "3D controls" in the player. 3. Enable SBS viewing on your display/headset if it is not activated automatically. 4. Use Aspect for stretched images and Convergence to adjust video eye alignment. 5. Click the extension icon for mouse-mapping and optional Odyssey preferences. Shortcuts: Alt+Shift+S: toggle stereo controls. Alt+Shift+M: switch mouse mapping for this tab. Alt+Shift+Up/Down: adjust UI and cursor depth when not editing a field. Alt+Shift+0: return UI and cursor to screen depth. Privacy: Settings are stored locally. There are no analytics, advertisements or developer servers. Video frames stay on your device. YouTube continues serving video/audio and thumbnail images normally.
