YouTube Sponsored Labeler
Overview
Labels a YouTube channel's videos with their sponsor — SponsorBlock detection plus name extraction from the description.
YouTube Sponsored Labeler shows you which videos on a channel's Videos tab contain a paid sponsorship — at a glance, before you click. It checks each video against the SponsorBlock community database (sponsor.ajay.app). If SponsorBlock has a sponsor segment for a video, the extension adds a small green "💲 Sponsor" chip to that video's tile. Videos with no SponsorBlock data get no badge — the extension never falsely claims a video is unsponsored. Features • Works on any channel's Videos tab (youtube.com/@handle/videos and /channel/.../videos) • Green "Sponsor" chip on videos with a known sponsor segment • No false "not sponsored" labels — absence of a segment just means no data • Caches results locally so revisiting a channel is instant • Lightweight: no account, no tracking, no ads How it works The extension sends only the public YouTube video ID to the SponsorBlock API to look up sponsor segments. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Detection data is provided by SponsorBlock (https://sponsor.ajay.app).
