### YouTube Shorts Redesign Browse YouTube Shorts in two directions: - **Left / Right** — previous or next Short from the same creator. - **Up / Down** — YouTube's normal recommended feed. Sideways navigation uses YouTube's native in-page router, so the video, title, channel, counts, comments, share target, menus, and action buttons update together without a page reload. An optional **Comments panel** setting automatically opens YouTube's native comments beside each Short. It is off by default, respects manual closing, and does not affect regular YouTube videos. A compact action rail adds: - **Channel** — activates YouTube's own *Don't recommend this channel* action. - **Hide** — locally skips that Short during sideways browsing. The popup independently controls sideways navigation, the native comments panel, the first-use guide, the position marker, and both quick actions. ### Privacy The extension makes no third-party requests and has no analytics. It communicates only with YouTube for its documented functionality. Preferences, the hint count, and up to 500 hidden video IDs are kept in Chrome sync storage. No data is sent to the developer or sold.
