This extension extracts YouTube video transcripts and sends them to user-selected AI chats for analysis, without manual copy/paste. Features: • Extract the full YouTube video transcript directly from the page • Send transcript-based prompts to supported AI chats: ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) Claude (claude.ai) Gemini (gemini.google.com) DeepSeek (deepseek.com) Grok (grok.com) Kimi (kimi.com) Qwen (chat.qwen.ai) • One-click workflow directly under the video player • Customizable prompt for controlling AI output • Fast switching between AI providers • Saved summaries cached locally in your browser Optional feature: You can add your own free Cerebras.ai API key to enable fast transcript summaries under the video and improved language detection. This is optional and not required for the main transcript-to-chat workflow. How it works: 1. Open any YouTube video 2. Choose an AI chat 3.. Click "Send to chat" 4. The extension extracts the transcript and opens the selected AI chat with the prepared prompt Optional summary workflow: 1. Add your own Cerebras.ai API key in settings 2. Open a YouTube video with a transcript 3. Click "Summarize" 4. A summary is generated below the video Data usage: • The extension reads publicly available transcript data and related video metadata from YouTube pages • Transcript content is processed only when the user explicitly clicks "Send to chat" or "Summarize" • The extension communicates with a server to prepare prompt packages and optional summaries • This server acts only as a temporary processing service: it receives a request, returns the result, and does not keep user accounts, chat history, or saved transcript data • The server is used so transcript parsing and related processing logic can be updated faster without requiring users to reinstall the extension • If provided by the user, a Cerebras.ai API key is used only for optional summary and language-detection features • User settings and saved summaries are stored locally in the browser • The extension does not automatically send transcript content to AI chats without user action
