Disabling All Numerical Controls

Hello, I realize this isn't the point of your extension, but since you're directly interacting with the main keyboard number keys, can you add a mode/option where any numerical key input effectively does nothing? I'm attempting to find a way to block those skips from accidentally triggering, however cannot find a valid tool or means. Even if the number input simply 'skipped' to the current time or a frame behind would be fine, just anything to prevent a shift to a time where you would lose your previous point of playback and already overwrite the saved location on Youtube's history.
