Overview

Replace YouTube's queue: add videos anywhere, reorder with drag-and-drop, track played videos, and auto-advance.

YouTube's built-in queue is unreliable. It disappears when you close a tab, often disappears if your playlist is long or open for a long time, and never tells you how long what's left will take. YT Queue Manager replaces it entirely — with a queue that persists, shows real time totals, and lets you add any video from anywhere on the site, including shorts. - Keep a queue for as long as you want - the queue won't get randomly thrown away when you navigate to a new video, when you close YouTube or even when you close the browser. - Add anything to your queue - shorts or regular videos - from anywhere you see the purple "Add to My Queue" buttons. Or from YouTube's three-dot menu - Auto-advance the queue when the video ends, even if it's a short - Add to your queue from any tab that has YouTube open, no worrying that you can't add that video because your queue is no a different tab - See what you've already watched, what's coming up, how long your playlist is and how much time it will take to finish - Clear just the videos that have already played, keep your queue tidy - No duplicate entries - add that video only once, no matter how many times you click "Add to My Queue" - Filter your queue by all videos, short videos, long videos, or essays. - Set your own duration boundaries for the short and essay views. - Drag and drop videos to reorder your queue. - Save queues as named playlists for later. - Export and import queues as text to move them between browsers or computers. - Sync your queues between machines. Maybe - we're not sure if this one is working right yet, so we've added it as an experimental feature for now **Adding to the queue:** - Convenient buttons appear on every video thumbnail across the home feed, search results, sidebar, channel pages, and Shorts - "Add to My Queue - Play Next" puts the selected video up next in your playlist - "Add to My Queue - Play Last" adds the selected video to the end of your playlist **Privacy:** This extension collects no data whatsoever. It does not track you, phone home, or interact with any server. The queue is stored locally in your browser and only leaves your device if you have Chrome Sync enabled, in which case it follows Google's own sync privacy policy.
