It permanently hides the bar, so there is no way to get it back without uninstalling the extension. It would be better if you could hide and unhide the bar with a button on the extension's icon.
Sorry to hear you didn't appreciate the way the extension works. Your opinion is completely understandable. Keep in mind that this extension aims toward simplicity and lightness, and you can also disable the extension instead of uninstalling it. There are other similar extensions that fit your expectations better like Hide Youtube Progress Bar.
