Works as advertised! The official YouTube setting to disable inline previews works only on each browser individually. But this extension, synchronized to each of your Chrome installations, will block them always. This is a godsend, as even the inline preview playback will add the video to your watch history, and thus poison your recommended videos even further (if that is even possible in 2024) Thanks!

actually works, great extension. youtube technically has this function built-in on their site, but it keeps resetting and playing you the previews literally minutes after telling it not to.

I think the built-in function just makes it play a still image slideshow of the video instead of previewing actual video. At least that's all I was ever able to get it to do. Glad the extension works for you! If you come across any bugs let me know and I will try to fix them

This really does nothing, nothing can stop the preview.

Hey do you mind if I troubleshoot this with you? I think we can probably get this version working for you - but if not, I update this extension every few days, so I will try to find a fix for you. Two questions: 1. Which option do you have it set to (scroll/click/disable)? 2. Are you on Mac or Windows? The latest version of the extension (v1.4) just got approved this morning, so you also may want to try just updating to that and see if it fixes it for you.
