YouTube Pitch Changer

Transpose with YouTube Pitch Changer: move any song up or down by semitones to your key, or slow it down without changing the pitch.

YouTube Pitch Changer is a Chrome extension that changes the key of any song on YouTube and YouTube Music while it plays. Move the pitch up or down in semitones and the tempo stays the same, or slow the video down and the key stays the same. 🎤 Change the pitch of a YouTube video in three steps 1. Open a song on YouTube or YouTube Music. 2. Turn on YouTube Pitch Changer under the video, or press Pitch in the player bar. 3. Press + or − and sing or play along in your new key. Transpose YouTube videos to any key A song is too high for your voice, or your band plays it in another key? Shift it until it fits. YouTube Pitch Changer works as a youtube pitch shifter on music videos, lessons, covers and live recordings. • Up to 12 semitones higher or lower, one step at a click. • The tempo doesn't change, so the groove stays right. • Your key stays set when you skip ahead or start the next video. • The current shift shows on the toolbar icon. • Reset brings back the original key in one click. Slow down a song without changing pitch Learning a fast solo or a hard verse? Set the speed from 0.5× to 2× in small steps and the song keeps its key. Use pitch and speed together: slow a song down and move it to your key at the same time. The speed you pick stays when YouTube loads the next video. Pitch changer for YouTube Music On YouTube Music the Pitch button sits in the player bar, next to the volume. Change key on YouTube Music once and the whole playlist plays in that key, so it works as a pitch changer for songs you practice every day. For singers, guitar players and karaoke Singers find a comfortable key before a gig, a lesson or an audition, and warm up with the songs they love in a range that fits their voice. Guitar players use it as a pitch changer for guitar lessons: a song recorded half a step down plays in standard tuning after one step up, so there is no need to retune. Bass, horn and piano players can change key on a YouTube song to match their own instrument. Karaoke tracks on YouTube become a key changer for karaoke nights at home: lower the key a few steps and sing the chorus without straining. A pitch changer that sounds natural The new key is made in real time while the video plays, so there is no waiting, nothing to upload and no file to convert. Vocals and instruments keep their timing and their character. That makes it a pitch changer with high quality sound for daily practice, not a chipmunk effect. Works the way you watch The controls sit right under the video, where you look anyway, with big buttons that are easy to hit while you hold an instrument. Switch them off and the card folds away. It follows YouTube's own speed menu, keeps working in full screen and theater mode, and goes with you from one video to the next in the same tab.
