Overview

Adds options to open only the first video from YouTube playlist links, without loading the full playlist.

On YouTube, some video links include playlist information — meaning that when you click the link, you’re taken to the selected video within the context of a playlist. Sometimes you just want to watch the specific video in a link — no autoplay, no playlist context, just the video. This extension gives you that choice. YouTube Only First Video adds convenient mouse-based options for interacting with playlist-style video links. With a simple right-click or middle-click, you can choose to open just the selected video. Personally, I use middle mouse button with 'Open in new tab' setting.
