Click any note to jump straight to that point in the video. Give a note a heading, and link one note to another with [[wiki-links]] — the note you link to shows its backlinks, so a series of videos becomes one connected set of study notes. ★ TAGS & PINS Organize notes with your own reusable tags, and pin the important ones. Manage your tag list in one place — rename or delete a tag and every note updates. Open a video's pinned notes straight from its card: inline, in a side panel, or in a dialog, whichever suits you. ★ THE NOTES OVERLAY A dedicated view for everything you've written, one click from the YouTube header: search across all notes, filter by tag, and move between Videos, Timeline, Bookmarks, Playlists and Channels. Switch between a video-card grid and a chronological timeline, and adjust the density to your taste. ★ BOOKMARKS & FOLDERS Save a video, a channel, or a single note to your private library and file it in a folder you name. Folders nest, a bookmark lives in exactly one of them, and nothing you bookmark is ever published. ★ PLAYLISTS Watching a playlist? The Notes overlay groups that playlist's videos and notes into one entry you can copy or export to Markdown in one go — great for turning a lecture series into study material. Optional playlist progress shows how far through the series you are. ★ PROGRESS DASHBOARD A page that answers what you actually want to know about your backlog: how long you've kept each item, how far through it you got, how much you captured from it, and the totals across everything. Seven headline figures, an oldest-first backlog with aging buckets, notes-per-day and items-per-week trends, and per-channel and per-folder breakdowns. Export the current view to CSV. PRIVACY Your notes are private by default and stored in your own account. The extension only runs on youtube.com, only accesses your own notes, and never collects your browsing history. All code ships inside the extension — nothing is loaded remotely. Watch progress is recorded only for videos you deliberately kept — bookmarked or noted — or that you watch inside a playlist, and both can be turned off. The extension sends anonymous, aggregate usage statistics (which features are used) to help improve it — never your notes, personal data, or browsing activity.
