YouTube Money Checker — Channel Earnings & Income Estimator
Overview
Free YouTube channel earnings calculator: estimated monthly income on each channel page, from recent views, niche CPM & Shorts.
Ever wondered what YouTube channel earnings look like? YouTube Money Checker — Channel Earnings & Income Estimator adds a small badge to every channel page with an estimated monthly income range, shown right next to the subscriber and video counts. It is a free earnings calculator and income estimator that works out of the box: open a channel and the estimate is already there, based on recent views, the channel's niche and typical CPM rates for it. No account, no website to visit, no numbers to type in. The badge reads like "$1.2K – $3.4K /mo", with a thin range bar and, when the niche is recognized, its name. It is a rough estimate of ad revenue from public data, not the channel's real income, and the popup says so. 🎯 WHAT YOU SEE On a channel page (a @handle, /channel/, /c/ or /user/ address) a green badge appears beside the channel's counts: A low and a high figure in US dollars, so you see a range instead of one made-up number. A range bar that shows the spread at a glance. The monthly period and, when the extension recognizes the niche, its name, such as gaming, finance, education or tech. While the numbers are being worked out, a slim animated bar holds the place. Hover the badge for a short note on what the figures mean. 🧮 HOW THE ESTIMATE IS BUILT Everything comes from the channel page you are already looking at: 1. The recent videos listed on the page are read: their views, how long ago they went up and how long they are. 2. Monthly views are estimated from that upload rhythm, with the highest and lowest view counts trimmed out so one hit does not skew the result. 3. The channel's keywords and description decide its niche, from finance and business to gaming, music, travel or cooking. 4. Each niche has its own CPM range (what advertisers pay per thousand views). The range is then adjusted for the creator's share of ad revenue, for the part of views that earn nothing, for the time of year, and for channels that are not family-friendly. 5. Shorts are counted separately and at a much lower rate than long videos, because they pay far less per view. The result is a low-to-high band for one month of ad revenue. 💡 WHEN IT HELPS Curious viewers — Find out roughly what your favorite creators earn from ads. Creators and aspiring YouTubers — Compare your own channel with others in your niche and see how views and CPM add up. Marketers and brand managers — Get a quick sense of a channel's scale before reaching out about a sponsorship. Journalists and researchers — Add a ballpark figure to a story about the creator economy. Students — See how views, niche and ad rates turn into money. Agencies and managers — Rank prospects at a glance without leaving YouTube. ⚡ SIMPLE TO USE Install it and open any channel. To switch the badge off, click the toolbar icon and flip the switch; it disappears at once, no reload needed. The popup also shows a sample badge, a reminder of how approximate the figures are, and the version. The badge follows YouTube's light and dark themes, and the interface comes in 55 languages, with right-to-left support. Channels you have just looked at are remembered for a few minutes, so going back and forth is instant. 🔒 PRIVACY This extension has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no servers of its own. Everything is calculated on your computer, from what the page already shows. Nothing is sent anywhere, and the fonts, icons and rate tables are bundled inside the extension. Three permissions are used: Storage — remembers whether the badge is on or off, nothing else. Tabs — tells your open YouTube tabs to show or hide the badge when you use the switch. It does not read your tabs' addresses, titles or history. Access to YouTube pages — lets the extension read the channel's public details and place the badge. It does not run on any other website. 👥 WHO IT IS FOR People who are curious about YouTube income. Creators who compare themselves with similar channels. Marketers and sponsors who size up channels. Writers and analysts who need a quick ballpark. ❓ GOOD TO KNOW Is this the channel's real income? — No. It is an estimate built from public data and average rates. Real income depends on things only the creator can see: actual CPM, ad-blocker share, audience countries and more. What does it leave out? — Sponsorships, memberships, merchandise and other income outside ads. It is a model of ad revenue only. Does it check whether a channel is monetized? — No. It does not know a channel's monetization status and does not show private analytics. Why is there no badge? — The extension needs the channel's recent videos to be visible on the page. Newer or very quiet channels may not have enough data. Does it work in the mobile app? — No. It works on YouTube channel pages in the desktop browser. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
